Über
The Project Manager provides contract governance, customer engagement, and strategic oversight for the managed services engagement. The PM supports consistent service performance, informed IT planning and budgeting decisions, proactive issue resolution and avoiding unnecessary overhead and disruption to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract & Service Governance
Serve as the primary management liaison with the Transportation Council's Executive Director. Provide weekly coordination, status updates, and issue tracking. Monitor service delivery performance and SLA compliance (99.99%). Manage incident escalation and resolution coordination. Strategic IT Planning & Assessment
Oversee the annual system assessment and review technical findings. Support development of IT roadmaps, lifecycle planning, and budget recommendations. Advise on technology modernization opportunities as requested. Reporting & Compliance
Review monthly invoices and progress reports for contract compliance. Ensure deliverables align with RFP scope and federal contracting requirements. Coordinate documentation, reporting, and audit readiness activities. Vendor & Resource Coordination
Coordinate vendor relationships and procurement support activities. Ensure smooth transition support and knowledge transfer from incumbent providers. Support staffing coordination and continuity planning.
Qualifications & Experience
8+ years of IT project or service management experience. Experience managing managed services or IT support contracts. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and service delivery models. Prior government or public-sector experience preferred. PMP or ITIL certification preferred.
