Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a "Facilities Technician" based out of San Diego, CA.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $39/hr on W2

Summary
In this role, you will support lab, office, and GMP facility operations in a fast-paced biotech environment. And you will be responsible for maintaining building systems, responding to maintenance requests, supporting utilities, and ensuring smooth facility operations.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systemsSupport building utilities and lab operationsRespond to work orders and facility alarmsMaintain maintenance logs and CMMS documentationCoordinate with outside vendors and service providersSupport GMP and laboratory environments
Qualifications
4+ years of facilities maintenance experienceExperience in biotech, pharmaceutical, GMP, or lab environments preferredKnowledge of HVAC, building utilities, and maintenance systemsExperience with CMMS/BMS systems such as Siemens Desigo preferredStrong troubleshooting and communication skills
