Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing customized care plans Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health issues, in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (pending credentials) Educating patients and families about wellness, prevention, and effective disease management techniques Prescribing treatments and medications while adhering to your scope of practice Engaging in ongoing patient care and chronic illness management Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless and comprehensive care Maintaining precise and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nebraska National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days) Attributes That Make You Stand Out
