Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using standardized evaluations and observational methods. Create customized treatment plans that cater to specific short- and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing preferences. Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions, focusing on aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to design cohesive care strategies. Provide education for patients and families to promote progress beyond clinical sessions. Conduct occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, assuring continuity in care throughout the treatment experience. Ensure timely and accurate documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Remain informed about developments in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Skills
