Responsibilities Mayo Clinic seeks a BC/BE interventional cardiologist to join the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at its Mayo Clinic Health System practice in La Crosse, Wisconsin, located on the scenic Upper Mississippi River. The physician will join a practice with general cardiologists, including interventional cardiologists and cardiac electrophysiologists with a robust coronary angiography practice. Call expectations for interventional cardiologist will be 1:4, utilizing cardiology practice physicians as well as external support as needed. The practice will include coronary interventions, 24/7 primary PCI, general clinical Cardiology (inpatient/outpatient services), and outreach. Peripheral interventional skills are preferred but not required. There would be some participation in general cardiology (consultative only) hospital call pending further expansion of the group. Echo training and certification would be ideal (transthoracic/TEE) but not required. Qualifications Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in CV Disease and Interventional Cardiology, and able to obtain WI State Medical License.
