Day shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 8hour shifts Start times between 6:00-8:00 a.m. No holidays required Oncall rotation approximately every 6 weeks $6,000 signon bonus for qualified applicants Career ladder flexibility - applicants considered at all experience levels A twoyear work commitment is required for the signon bonus. Position Summary The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures at a professional and technical level with minimal supervision. This role requires independent judgment, critical thinking, and initiative to safely and effectively apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes while delivering highquality patient care. Final candidates will be offered a job title and salary within the Nuclear Medicine career ladder that reflects education, experience, and manager discretion at the time of offer. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, respectful, and patientcentered care while collaborating effectively with physicians, coworkers, and other departments to support efficient patient flow Clearly explain procedures and instructions to patients, helping to relieve anxiety and encourage cooperation Accurately code, track, and document all exams using the RIS system; ensure proper archiving and interpretation through ISITE; and enter all applicable charges Maintain accurate records for the receipt, usage, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations Verify patient identity using two identifiers and follow universal protocol for all procedures Review patient history and physician orders, apply departmental protocols, and document pertinent information in the electronic medical record Calculate, measure, administer, and record radiopharmaceutical doses in accordance with departmental policies and Radiation Safety guidelines Perform nuclear medicine examinations with a high level of technical proficiency, producing optimal diagnostic images Conduct all required quality control on imaging and nonimaging equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance What We Offer Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the career ladder Competitive compensation aligned with experience A predictable schedule that supports work-life balance Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or Candidate who meets NMTCB alternate eligibility criteria Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances ARRT (N) or CNMT certification, or registryeligible
Must obtain registry certification within 12 months of hire
CPR/BLS certification required
Certification must meet American Heart Association (AHA) standards, including both didactic instruction and skills demonstration Must be obtained within 30 days of hire
New York State Requirement (if applicable):
Technologists working in a New York facility must be certified through ARRT or NMTCB and hold licensure through the New York State Department of Health
