TRANSPORTATION AIDE/DRIVER-PART TIME-NO CDL REQUIREDIMMEDIATE OPENINGHOURLY PAYJOB DESCRIPTION: The Transportation Aide/Driver assists with the transportation of students with special transportation needs. The Transportation Aide/Driver must be flexible, understanding, patient, friendly, and demonstrate emotional stability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent or passing score on literacy test given by MCPS Ability to understand and follow verbal and written communication Dependability and punctuality required ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Assist students on and off the vehicle. Assist in controlling student behavior. Tend to the special needs and conditions of each student. Learn bus routes, schedules, and pick up points. Keep abreast of route changes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
General knowledge of the transportation of students. Display professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school officials, parents, associates and students. Perform related work as required Closing Date: Open until filled
