Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in tandem with physicians or independently (as per your qualifications) Empowering patients and their families through education on preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management Prescribing medications and treatments adhering to your scope of practice Involvement in follow-up care and the management of chronic health conditions Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and seamless patient care Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR) Your Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is required Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or comparable specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days) Qualities That Distinguish You
