Make a meaningful impact in your community one patient at a time MCHC is seeking an experienced, caring, and adaptable Medical Assistant to serve as a Float MA across multiple MCHC clinic locations, including our upcoming Same-Day Clinic. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in diverse environments, enjoys supporting various teams, and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care. Conduct rooming of patients, including vitals, assessments, screenings, and medical histories Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within the MA scope of practice Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders Document accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Maintain clinical areas, ensure proper stocking, and adhere to infection control standards Provide patient education on diagnoses, follow-up care, and treatment plans as directed

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) At least one year of experience in a clinical setting Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
