Position: Pharmacist Location: Evanston Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Resource Hours: Rotating shifts, Weekends, and Holidays Required Travel: Yes
What You Will Need
License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist Education: BLS or PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred Certification: N/A Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment
What You Will Do
Dispense medication in response to a physician's order Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
