Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and creating tailored care strategies Diagnosing and treating a range of health issues collaboratively with physicians or independently, contingent on your credentials Providing education to patients and families concerning prevention, wellness, and disease management Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with your practice scope Engaging in patient follow-up and management for chronic conditions Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for consistent, comprehensive patient care Ensuring meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Education Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days) Essential Skills
Strong clinical judgement complemented by a caring approach Excellent communication capabilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams Flexibility in dynamic, patient-centric settings Comfort with EMR systems and telehealth functionalities A collaborative spirit and dedication to evidence-based methods What You Will Appreciate About This Position
