Hampshire - 5 days on site We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to work in a high-security environment supporting production LAN and global WAN infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting existing networks, delivering new infrastructure, and testing emerging technologies in lab environments. The ideal engineer will be confident in CLI-based configuration, network security, and automation tooling, with experience operating in complex, secure environments. Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support LAN and WAN architectures Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF and BGP Implement and manage VPNs and network security solutions, including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) Design, build, and maintain data centre networks, including leaf/spine architectures Work with High Assurance IP Encryption (HAIPE) devices Automate network provisioning and orchestration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent Produce and maintain technical documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
