Community Caregiver

Bethesda Sunrise Village is seeking a dedicated Community Caregiver to provide high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive assisted living environment. This role focuses on promoting each resident's independence, dignity, and overall well-being while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like atmosphere.

Part-time, 4:00 PM 9:00 PM, including every other weekend. $1/hour shift differential for weekend shifts

Deliver personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. Support medication reminders and delegated nursing tasks under RN/LPN supervision. Monitor and document vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions. Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and daily living activities. Engage residents through meaningful activities and social interaction. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with organizational policies. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.

Graduate of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program and listed on the Minnesota registry or successful completion of employer-provided caregiver training. Strong interpersonal, communication, and observational skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism in all interactions. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home care preferred.

Successful DHS background study (not disqualified). TB screening clearance. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds. High school diploma or GED preferred.

This is an at-will position. Responsibilities and duties may be adjusted based on organizational needs.
