Job Role: Central Technology Services (CTS) Risk Manager Hybrid remote 2 days a week onsite, 6-months contract.

Purpose: To support the Head of CTS IT & Operational Risk in delivering several risk-related projects and BAU activities for a period of 6 months.
Reporting Line Reports to: Head of CTS IT & Operational Risk Key Responsibilities 1.
IT Risk Management Work with OCIO and CTS Management to deliver and maintain a CTS Risk Register Work with OCIO and the CTS team to provide challenges on risk controls, ensuring they are clearly defined, tested, and effective Ensure all CTS Risk Exceptions are managed in line with policy and standards Coordinate and oversee the completion of Gap Analysis against Policy, IT Standards, and Regulations Implement Issue Management tracking within CTS and develop regular reporting to ensure accountability and time management by CTS staff Escalate material risks to the CTS Leadership Team as appropriate 2.
Operational Risk Management Work closely with 2nd line functions to ensure adequate oversight and reporting is in place for operational and other non-financial risks Work closely with Data Protection compliance teams to ensure DP obligations are met in respect to Register of Processing Activities (ROPA) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for ongoing projects. xyswxtq
Work closely with Group Compliance and other key stakeholders to ensure Supplier Risk requirements are being met by CTS management and staff.

Audit Engagement Act as a key liaison between first-line delivery teams, risk leadership between Group Compliance, OCIO, and External / Internal Audit during audits and reviews Ensure audit actions are managed on a timely basis, and conduct a review and challenge before submitting for closure Key Deliverables CTS Risk Register Issue Management Plan Completed Gap Analysis Operational Risk Reporting Data Protection Register of Processing Activities Key Success Metrics Up-to-date and complete CTS Risk Register Issue Management Plan in Place All CTS Risk Exceptions in Governance Operational Risk Reporting in place Data Protection obligations met Skills: Risk Management operational risk ROPA risk regulations Policy, IT Standards, and Regulations
