The Commercial Insightsfunction sits within the Commercial & Consumer Insights team and helps YETI's Commercial organization in the Americas optimize performance across channels by enabling faster, more informed decision-making. We support Commercial teams across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Chain Operations by surfacing key signals, trends, and opportunities by leveraging reporting tools, analyzing large data sets, and supporting the development of self-service and automated insight solutions.
Role Summary
The Commercial Insights Analyst supports YETI's Commercial organization by helping transform complex data into accessible, actionable insights that inform channel performance and business decision-making across the Americas. This role focuses on enabling the distribution and activation of insights at scale, moving beyond static reporting to support more dynamic, self-service, and automated analytics capabilities.
Working closely with the Manager, Commercial Insights; you will contribute by defining requirements, building tools and collaborating with Data Engineering and Enterprise Reporting to support to the development of scalable analytics solutions-including dashboards, automated reporting workflows, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities-that allow business partners to explore data more efficiently and independently. Success in this role is defined not only by accuracy and reliability, but by your ability to help make insights more accessible, timely, and useful to stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Insights Delivery & Reporting
Translate stakeholder questions into defined data requirements in partnership with senior team members. Design and build analytics solutions (dashboards, reports, AI agents, workflow automations) that track commercial performance across channels and improve operational efficiency and speed-to-insight Partner with Data Engineering and Enterprise Reporting to scale analytics solutions Support ongoing insights generation and socialization by surfacing key trends and summarizing findings Lead components of analysis that inform high-impact deliverables and action plans including weekly and monthly performance reviews and exploratory data analysis Support channel optimization testing, developing hypotheses and using data to validate those hypotheses to inform business strategy 2. Data Quality, Tools, Systems, Governance
Use SQL (or comparable query languages), analytics tools, and AI-enabled capabilities to support data preparation, analysis, and insight delivery in accordance with established standards, governance, and data integrity requirements Contribute to automated reporting and self-service tools by defining inputs, logic, and outputs Validate data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and ensure consistent use of definitions and metrics Act as a human-in-the-loop for reviewing outputs from automated or AI-supported workflows Partner with Data Engineering to identify and resolve data quality issues, escalating as needed 3. Stakeholder Support & Adoption
Partner with Commercial team stakeholders to analyze complex data, draw conclusions and communicate actionable insights in support of key business priorities Serve as a bridge between business and data teams, protecting single source of truth and applying data sets strategically across domains (e.g. site behavioral data, transactional data, marketing channel data, user research, syndicated market data) while managing constraints and nuance Build productive working relationships with cross-functional teams to support ongoing reporting and analysis Qualifications and Attributes
Greater than 2 years of experience in analytics OR relevant coursework/internships in data analysis, consulting, business analytics, economics, statistics, or a similar field. Proficiency in SQL or a comparable query language and understanding of data modeling and relational databases Experience using generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to extend, review or accelerate work Experience in Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., pivots, lookups, charting). Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve non-routine problems, identifying and then applying appropriate analytical approaches Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality Ability to work with general direction while independently managing tasks and priorities Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative, team-first mentality: curious, collaborative, and adaptable Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
