Pay Rate: $22.40 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public officials as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and/or authorizations in accordance with site policies, helping to control entry to restricted or sensitive areas.
- Support emergency and routine operations by providing visible presence, assisting with de-escalation, and coordinating with law enforcement and/or first responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
