Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Specimen Management team in Phoenix, AZ. Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Required overtime as needed. Job Responsibilities: · Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients. · Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications · Communicates with customers in respectful and professional manner. · Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions. · Provide customer education and information as needed. · Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies. · Prepare and triage specimens for analysis. · Accurately identify and label specimens. · Pack and ship specimens as necessary. · Prepare and store excess specimen samples. Minimum Qualification: · High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualification: · Current or prior Labcorp experience · Associates degree · One year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience Additional Job Standards: · Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal · Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures · Comfortable handling biological specimens · Ability to accurately identify specimens · Experience working in a team environment · Strong data entry and organizational skills · High level of attention to detail · Proficient in MS Office · Ability to lift up to 40lbs. · Able to pass a standardized color blindness test At Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
