Position Summary/ Department Summary:
  • We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) to join the team within our Operating Room at Needham
Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations of Lexington Perioperative operations.
  • Preparing staff schedules, requests and allocates resources and facilitates coordination of care/services to meet patient care and operations requirements.
  • Developing, recommending and implementing internal standards, policies and procedures to improve quality and cost effectiveness of patient care.
  • Selecting, supervising and evaluating nursing and clinical support personnel as well as developing and providing staff education/development programs.
  • Leading and participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees and special projects.
  • Working 40 hours per week
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years perioperative nursing experience preferred.
  • Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
  • Leadership/Management experience preferred.
License/Certifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing and MA nursing license.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
**Sign-on bonus of $20,000 for full-time, 40 hour per week hires with over 2 years of direct OR experience as a Registered Nurse (who have not worked here in the past 2 years). **

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
