We are looking for a highly skilled Python Data Engineer with strong expertise in big data processing and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in Python, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and cloud platforms, along with prior experience working in the Retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Build robust data processing solutions using Python and Apache Spark.
Implement real‑time data streaming solutions using Kafka.
Develop and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.
Work closely with data architects, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver data‑driven solutions.
Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to data processing systems.
Follow best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Backend Engineering.
Strong hands‑on experience in Python programming.
Expertise in Apache Spark for large‑scale data processing.
Experience with Kafka and real‑time streaming architecture.
Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Prior experience working in the Retail industry is mandatory.
Good understanding of distributed systems and data engineering best practices.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with large‑scale enterprise data platforms.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Notice Period
Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 15 days will be highly preferred.
