Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies Diagnosing and treating urgent, acute, or chronic health issues in partnership with your physician colleagues or independently, depending on credentials Enlightening patients and families about preventive health, wellness, and effective disease management Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within established guidelines Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive and complete care Meticulously documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR) What You Need
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Michigan National accreditation as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty area Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain these within 90 days) What Makes You Shine
