Sign On and Retention Bonus Available Job Description Three days on, four days to live your life-that's a rhythm worth waking up for ☀ Southern Health Partners is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Alamance County Detention Center. With over 30 years of experience in correctional healthcare, we provide a structured, secure environment where medical professionals can focus on delivering quality care while maintaining a strong work-life balance. In this role, you'll blend hands-on patient care with the consistency of a reliable schedule-making a meaningful impact on an underserved population while working alongside a supportive, team-oriented staff.
What You'll Do
Administer medications in accordance with established protocols
Provide patient care within scope of practice
Conduct patient assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to health concerns Manage sick calls and carry out prescribed treatment plans Collaborate with medical and security staff to ensure continuity of care Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately Respond to emergencies with professionalism and sound clinical judgment
Qualifications
Active LPN license certification in North Carolina Prior experience in correctional, emergency, acute care, or long-term care preferred Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment Ability to work independently and within a team environment Excellent communication and documentation skills
