Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Location: Richmond, VA Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM Job Description: As an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the interventional radiology unit. You will work alongside a dedicated team to perform various procedures and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures such as PICC, C-lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations, filter placements, and neuro biopsies. Monitor and assess patient condition pre- and post-procedure. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Educate patients and families regarding procedures and care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current interventional radiology experience is required. Neuro interventional radiology experience is preferred. Must hold a valid nursing license and required certifications to practice in the state.
