Job Description The Senior DevOps Engineer role involves managing both on-premises and cloud-based environments. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that their infrastructure scales effectively and aligns with the evolving needs of the business.
Responsibilities
Manage and administer on-premises and cloud-based environments.
Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure the infrastructure supports current and future business requirements.
Utilize monitoring and analysis tools to collect and analyze system performance metrics and detect any problem that impacts revenue-generating activities.
Implement and oversee data quality monitoring tools to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the data pipeline.
Understand and assist in managing the network infrastructure, including maintaining and configuring firewalls and switches.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of infrastructure security.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar.
Strong knowledge of VM-based server administration, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
Experience with system monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in managing data pipelines and implementing data quality monitoring tools.
Solid understanding of network infrastructure management, including firewalls and switches.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.
