Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Rust) is an exciting role at a pioneering company that is transforming the UK's drone technology landscape. The company is advancing next-generation UAV systems, from cutting-edge flight-control electronics to high-performance airborne platforms, redefining what's possible in the drone space. As the team accelerates development, they are expanding their Embedded Software group and looking for ambitious senior engineers to shape the future of airborne systems.
Salaries range from £60,000 (for 3 years’ experience) to £140,000 for more experienced engineers, with relocation support and significant equity as part of the compensation package. This is a rare opportunity to make an immediate impact on real-world UAV technology while remaining hands-on with development and helping define the embedded-software architecture of a high-growth company.

Experience developing software for resource-constrained or real-time systems

Resident in the UK for at least 5 years
Desired Skills
Experience working in start-ups or scale-ups, especially fast-paced R&D environments

Embedded Rust experience (e.g. no_std, Embassy, RTIC) or RTOS exposure (FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
Embedded Linux experience
