Senior Technical Project Manager Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time Company Overview: Our client is at the forefront of integrating Direct-to-Consumer and Marketplace e-commerce models to link vibrant member-based communities with the brands they adore. Position Summary: We are looking for an exceptional Technical Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team and play a key role in driving and managing our development initiatives. This role will focus on building and optimizing project management functions within the development group, ensuring seamless collaboration between technical and business stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients. A strong technical background is critical for success in this role, enabling you to effectively understand and guide the AI layer, new component development, enhanced supplier setup capabilities, and network catalog integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and establish a robust project management function within the development team to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the development team to manage and oversee the creation of new technical components and enhanced capabilities, including supplier setup and integration.
  • Drive AI-layer integration efforts to enhance overall product functionality and client deliverables.
  • Manage development projects across multiple sites, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with client objectives.
  • Facilitate technical team support by ensuring projects are well-structured, clearly communicated, and efficiently executed.
  • Partner with the development team to address client-specific issues, such as network catalog integration and reporting functions.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between clients and internal teams to address extra efforts and unique project requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate technical challenges affecting client satisfaction, particularly in areas where the development team is overburdened.
  • Organize and conduct client meetings, outline project plans, and execute timelines with clear objectives.
  • Oversee integration of reporting functions and network catalog improvements to meet client needs.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine project management processes to drive efficiency and results.
Qualifications

Qualifications: 3+ years of Technical Project Management experience, with a proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Able to do hands-on coding in Java, Python or other modern programming language. Strong technical background, with the ability to understand complex development processes and technical requirements. Experience with Shopify, Shopify Theme Development, and Shopify App Development is highly desirable. Proficiency in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Liquid is a strong bonus. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity across development efforts. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities. Familiarity with AI integration and its role in enhancing technical solutions is a strong advantage. Ability to identify areas of improvement within development processes and drive architectural changes. Proven track record of delivering insightful, accurate, and timely work products.

Additional Information

Must reside in Washington State. No sponsorship at this time. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $110,000-150,000.00 per year DOE All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
