Civil Engineer for one of our multinational client sites in Dublin.
Responsibilities Lead and manage the civil engineering design scope across multiple projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions within agreed schedules and budgets.
Undertake and oversee the design of site development works, including grading, paving, earthworks, surface water drainage, foul water networks, stormwater management systems, and gravity wastewater infrastructure.
Coordinate underground utility layouts and site-wide infrastructure with multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring effective integration across all project disciplines.
Prepare and review technical deliverables including earthworks assessments, cut-and-fill analyses, grading plans, site development drawings, engineering reports, and permit application documentation.
Collaborate with project and discipline leads to define project scope, technical requirements, deliverables, and resource needs, while monitoring progress and reporting on project performance.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to support successful project execution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement, innovation, and growth of the Civil Engineering Department through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
Education & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred.
Minimum of 8 years' relevant civil engineering design experience.
Proven experience delivering pharmaceutical, industrial, manufacturing, or similar large-scale development projects.
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
Technical Skills Site development design, including grading, paving, and earthworks.
Underground utility routing and site space planning.
Surface water drainage and stormwater management design.
Hydrology and hydraulic analysis.
Gravity wastewater system design.
Earthworks modelling, cut-and-fill analysis, and grading optimisation. xyswxtq
Knowledge of permitting and regulatory approval processes.
