Sterile Processing Technician Mauston, WI Specialty: OR Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1286 - $1550 | Shift: 5x8 Days Are you a meticulous Sterile Processing Technician looking for your next rewarding opportunity? Do you take pride in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and instrument sterilization? Join our healthcare partner in Mauston, WI, and play a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the sterility of all hospital and clinical reusable instruments and devices. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help maintain the integrity of surgical operations and patient care.
Ensure sterility for infection control purposes Wash and reprocess used instruments Count and verify completeness of instrument sets Manage loaner instruments and ensure their proper reprocessing Maintain current IFU for equipment/instruments Communicate with departments to ensure availability of instruments and equipment Monitor stock levels and rotate products according to expiry dates Reprocess implant trays and set up surgery case carts Maintain sterilizer and cleaning records for Joint Commission compliance Perform other duties as requested Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a Sterile Processing Certificate, and a preferred 1+ years of related work experience.
