Fixed Term Whole Time Post (duration to 31 July 2030) UCC wishes to appoint Lecturers in Paramedicine, within the School of Medicine. These posts will be pivotal in the development of Paramedical Science within the University and the delivery of the core academic and clinical syllabi. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a broad-based experience in terms of teaching and research at a third-level academic institution. These posts provide an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic, dynamic and creative individuals with vision to contribute to the further development of paramedic practice in Ireland. These are exceptional opportunities for suitably qualified persons to play a key role in the delivery of a Paramedicine degree and to support research in this area. The appointees will contribute to the development, delivery and quality assurance of the teaching and research programmes in Paramedicine at UCC. The successful candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching delivery at University level. They must demonstrate an understanding of blended learning, educational platforms such as canvas and have experience in curriculum development, project management and demonstrate an ability to integrate with other disciplines. The candidates should show leadership qualities and excellent communication skills are essential. Appointments may be made on the Lecturer (Above the Bar) Salary Scale: €79,976 - €103,575 (Scale B) / €76,091 - €98,394 (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
