Price Optimization Data Scientist Job Overview: Our company is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist who specializes in writing machine learning algorithms that focus on ecommerce price optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing models and algorithms, and implementing pricing strategies that optimize revenue and increase customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. Key Responsibilities: Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources, including sales data, customer data, and competitor data. Develop machine learning algorithms and statistical models to optimize pricing strategies for our ecommerce platform. Collaborate with the product management team to understand customer behavior and market trends to ensure pricing models align with business objectives. Conduct A/B tests to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make data-driven recommendations to optimize revenue and customer satisfaction. Work with the engineering team to integrate machine learning models into our ecommerce platform and ensure smooth operation. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and ecommerce to continuously improve pricing strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and ecommerce pricing. Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex datasets and develop innovative solutions. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
