Utilize advanced radiographic and CT methods to generate high-quality diagnostic images for physician assessment Engage in collaborative efforts with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses Accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings to optimize imaging results Safeguard radiation safety protocols for patients and fellow team members alike Keep meticulous records including imaging logs and equipment upkeep Provide kind and empathetic patient care during every stage of the imaging process Help maintain a safe and well-organized imaging environment that adheres to best practices Education & Credentials
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is a distinct advantage Graduated from a recognized radiology program Certifications You Need
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is mandatory Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within three months of employment Essential Skills for Success
Expertise in diagnostic imaging processes and adherence to safety standards Strong communication abilities, adept at interacting with diverse patients and healthcare professionals Adaptability in fast-paced settings, able to pivot as priorities shift Detail-oriented perspective coupled with a high level of accountability Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and current imaging technology Your Perks and Benefits
