About the Role
Aviation Institute of Maintenance is looking for an Admissions Representative who is passionate about education, motivated by results, and genuinely invested in the success of every student they work with. This is not a passive role. It requires someone who takes initiative, stays organized under pressure, and brings consistent energy to a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Based at our Indianapolis campus near Indianapolis International Airport, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students exploring AIM's FAA-approved aviation maintenance technician programs. Your ability to build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and follow through with urgency will directly determine your impact - and your results.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a high volume of prospective student inquiries through phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings - responding with speed and professionalismAssess each prospective student's goals, background, and eligibility to identify the right program fitGuide students through every stage of the admissions process: inquiry, appointment setting, interview, application, documentation, and enrollmentConsistently meet and exceed enrollment KPIs, including outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion rates, application completion rates, and closing ratiosProactively follow up with prospective students to keep momentum and resolve barriers to enrollmentMaintain accurate records of student application status and pipeline activity in the CRMRepresent AIM at open houses, career fairs, and community recruitment eventsWhat We're Looking For

Education
High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree or higher preferred
Experience
Proven experience in sales or customer service with a record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratiosOne or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for-profit) post-secondary educational setting preferred
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiencesExcellent time management and the ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning new CRM and enrollment management systemsFlexible availability for occasional evenings and one Saturday per monthLocation & Schedule
Location: 7251 W McCarty St, Indianapolis, IN 46241 (near Indianapolis International Airport)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday: Two days from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM and two days from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSaturday: One Saturday per month, or as organizational needs requireCompensation: Up to $29.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
