Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post for a professional who values teamwork, integrity, and reliability while supporting a caring and innovative culture.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Monitor entrances, screening areas, and restricted access points while checking identification, observing visitor activity, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations while documenting daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
