Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering required diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care plans Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or solo (based on certification) Educating patients and their families about wellness, prevention, and disease management Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with your scope of practice Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to guarantee holistic care Maintaining comprehensive and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Background Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure valid in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC), or equivalent specialty credential Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Skills to Shine
Robust clinical skills coupled with a compassionate bedside presence Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and clinical colleagues Flexibility to thrive in dynamic, patient-first environments Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and a comfort with telehealth technologies A collaborative spirit and a dedication to evidence-driven practices Highlights of This Position
