Manages daily operations and maintains department budgets.
Manages the recruitment, retention, training, and competence of staff and analysts.
Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and level-of-detail of staff work product.
Builds and maintains relationships across multiple disciplines to achieve common goals.
Evaluates new equipment and procedures.
Oversees campus operational budgets, equipment acquisition, and metric reviews.
Executes clinical excellence for campus. Enforces regulatory compliance at the campus level.
Directs and mentors staff, is responsible for hospital staffing models.
Ensures metrics are communicated and met. Provides expertise in hospital operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

Field of Study:
in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
in Education, Business, Health Care Administration, or other healthcare-related field
Work Experience:
2+ years respiratory leadership experience [Required]
5+ years of respiratory clinical experience [Required]
Additional Information:
Active member of AARC [Preferred]
NBRC credentials must be maintained as a condition of continued role eligibility.
All States: require NBRC for new hires, and incumbents
Florida Exception: legacy incumbents may continue working and may transfer within Florida without a NBRC active credential, subject to an approved time-limited transition period.

State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required]
Active NBRC Credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Preferred]
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) [Preferred]
