As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Experienced in Hialeah, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a respected financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each day.

Pay Rate: $20.01 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated access points to help to deter unauthorized activity, support access control procedures, and/or assist with visitor and employee interactions.
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior, unusual conditions, and/or potential policy violations while maintaining a visible presence and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
