Technical Engineer Full-Time - Permanent The Job The Technical Engineer will be responsible for designing and advising on domestic Energy Efficiency Upgrades under SEAI supported schemes. Making various recommendations for domestic and commercial retrofits including but not limited to; lighting, insulation measures, doors & windows, air-tightness measures, boilers, heat pumps and heating controls. The successful candidate will ensure retrofit designs are completed to a high standard, within budget, compliant with all Regulatory Body scheme stipulations and on KPI schedule while maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities/What you'll be doing: Design OSS & retrofit project works, ensuring cost-effectiveness & accuracy while maintaining high-quality standards. Liaise with Technical/BER Assessors as well as third party contractors to complete retrofit project plans, including scope, and timeline. Work together with our cross-functional teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and in-house staff, to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure all retrofit projects comply with building regulations, SEAI requirements and environmental standards. Implement established quality control measures to guarantee that retrofit projects meet or exceed industry standards. Skills & Experience: Customer Facing and Technical experience designing domestic upgrades, preferably in the Retrofit space aligned to SEAI Scheme regulations. BER Assessor Qualification highly desirable OR NZEB/Passive Housing qualification OR equivalent in civil engineering, Trade or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of energy-efficient retrofitting and regulatory requirements is highly desirable Ability to manage customer expectations along Customer Journey and stakeholder relationships. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Full clean driving licence Why should you apply?
