- 5+ years professional backend development experience - 5+ years of Java experience; well versed in Java 7 and later - 5+ Years RESTful Web Services with GraphQL a requirement - 3+ Years Spring - 3+ Years Apache Commons, Tomcat, MySQL, Google Guice, Guava, Tomcat, and NoSQL solutions - 3+ Years SQL - 2+ years familiarity with an IDE of choice - 2+ years supporting a product or service in production Some of the technologies that are critical to candidates success, in priority order are: High - Java - Spring - GraphQL - AWS Lambdas - GIT - HTTP REST/JSON - Kubernetes - Cassandra - Postgress - Kafka Medium - Git CI/CD - IntelliJ - MacOS - Postman - Jira - Chalk/Confluence - Groovy - NodeJS Optional - Python Other Requirements - Excellent verbal communication and written communication - Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively both with a team and on your own - Comfortable in fast past environment with consistently shifting priorities
