We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to design and build robust backend systems for scalable enterprise applications. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This is a remote role. Responsibilities:
Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. Optimize application performance and scalability. Design and implement database schemas and queries (SQL/NoSQL). Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams. Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews. Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Java development. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices. Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). Good understanding of design patterns and system architecture. Nice to Have:
Experience with Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch. Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
