Design Build Search is seeking anOperations Manageron behalf of our client. The selected candidate will be expected to work in Tullamore, with travel to sites across the Southeast and Midlands. Our client is a growing civil engineering company delivering major infrastructure and public realm projects across Ireland. Due to continued growth within their water division, they are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join the Water Delivery Team. Working alongside the Water Networks Contracts Manager, youll oversee multiple water infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. The role involves coordinating teams, managing resources, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations across multiple projects. Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, engineers, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards. Oversee project scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation. Monitor budgets, KPIs, project progress, and reporting. Attend client and progress meetings and manage stakeholder relationships. Support recruitment, team management, and workforce planning. Requirements Experience in a similar role within the water or wastewater industry. Relevant technical or academic qualification. Experience working to Irish or UK Water standards. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Good knowledge of MS Project and general IT systems. Full driving licence required.
