Pegasus Technologies is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) focused on delivering exceptional IT support, cybersecurity, and strategic technology solutions to small and mid-sized businesses throughout the region. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Tier 2 Technician to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with clients, and continuing to grow their IT knowledge in a fast-paced MSP environment.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2 technical support for desktops, servers, networking, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments
Troubleshoot escalated service tickets and resolve issues efficiently
Support and maintain Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
Assist with onboarding/offboarding users and device deployments
Work with firewalls, switches, wireless networking, and VPN connectivity
Participate in project work including migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
Document technical procedures, configurations, and resolutions
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal team members
Escalate complex issues when appropriate while maintaining ownership of the client experience
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of IT support experience, preferably within an MSP environment
Strong knowledge of:
Windows 10/11
Windows Server
Microsoft 365
Active Directory
Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs) Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ConnectWise, Autotask, Datto, Huntress, or similar MSP platforms
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
Experience supporting virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware
Microsoft or CompTIA certifications are a plus
