About
Responsibilities
Build partnerships and work closely with functional peers across engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to implement semiconductor strategic objectives.
Develop Statement of Requirements (SORs) and release semiconductors to facilitate on‑time sourcing and integration with ECUs in accordance with Global Vehicle Development Process and program timing requirements.
Run a Product Development Team (PDT) consisting of all internal and external partners ensuring semiconductors are designed, produced, and production ready.
Build strong semiconductor fabrication partner relationships ensuring clear understanding of manufacturing process and supply chain business arrangements.
Project‑manage ongoing process/product design changes related to semiconductors within scope of responsibility and present progress to leadership.
Work with system engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers to define and implement a full Ethernet system solution.
Establish domain expertise for the semiconductor product line within scope of responsibility.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
2+ years of engineering experience as a DRE, at a semiconductor supplier, or at a Tier 1 ECU supplier.
1+ year of engineering experience in electronic hardware design and development.
Working knowledge of automotive electronic hardware and automotive software architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Industry knowledge with the design and application of different semiconductors.
Experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
