About
Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical laboratory testing processes. Process and accession patient specimens for molecular testing. Perform nucleic acid extraction, quantification, and analysis. Operate and support Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows. Analyze data and maintain accurate patient testing records. Perform and document quality control activities, instrument calibrations, and maintenance. Participate in proficiency testing, laboratory inspections, and quality assurance programs. Troubleshoot technical issues affecting test performance and reporting. Document corrective actions when testing systems fall outside established performance standards. Communicate technical concerns to laboratory leadership and appropriate personnel. Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, and a clean, organized work environment. Respond to inquiries regarding sample processing and technical laboratory procedures. Train and mentor laboratory staff as appropriate based on experience level. We Require:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Biological, Clinical, or Medical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology from an accredited institution. Experience working in a CLIA-certified molecular laboratory performing NGS testing. Strong knowledge of: Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR Nucleic acid extraction and quantification Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) CLIA and CAP regulations Laboratory Developed Test (LDT) validation
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Professional demeanor and commitment to quality patient care. ASCP Molecular Certification required for Level II and Level III candidates. Reliable transportation. What we offer:
Salary: $120,000 annually based on experience and education
