Perform radiographic and CT imaging techniques to create diagnostic quality images for analyzing and interpreting by physicians Engage in teamwork with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnosis Expertly position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal imaging results Adhere to comprehensive radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff Maintain detailed records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging process Help foster a secure, organized, and efficient imaging environment Educational Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's Degree highly regarded Graduated from an accredited radiology program Certifications Required
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography Current BLS certification or ability to secure within 90 days of hiring Essential Skills for Success
Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging methods and safety standards Strong communication skills tailored to patients and interprofessional teams Adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment with agility to adapt to challenges A keen eye for detail combined with a deep commitment to accountability Comfortable with technology including PACS, RIS, and modern imaging systems The Rewards of Joining Us
