About
Perform CT scans according to established protocols. Verify patient identification and obtain patient history. Ensure patient safety and document pregnancy status when applicable. Produce high-quality diagnostic images and perform image reconstruction. Administer oral and IV contrast following facility protocols. Establish IV access and review lab values before contrast administration. Transfer and verify images through PACS, EMR, and related systems. Complete, modify, and cancel imaging orders as required. Maintain accurate patient demographics and charge information. Review patient charts and reports for correlation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist with workflow management and scheduling. Precept and train new employees and students.
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Radiological Science program. ARRT Registered or Registry Eligible. Advanced CT Certification required. Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required. Registry-eligible candidates must provide a diploma from an accredited program. Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements.
Experience:
Previous education, training, or experience demonstrating the ability to perform CT imaging duties.
