Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud‑native applications within a modern AWS environment. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex business problems, challenging conventional approaches, and driving technical innovation across multiple enterprise applications. You will work within a shared engineering organization that supports a portfolio of applications spanning front‑end, back‑end, and cloud services. The ideal candidate combines deep AWS expertise with strong software engineering fundamentals, a solution‑oriented mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud‑native applications and services on AWS.
Architect and implement solutions for complex business and technical challenges.
Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices‑based applications.
Troubleshoot production issues across distributed systems using logs, metrics, traces, and monitoring tools.
Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions.
Collaborate across engineering teams supporting multiple enterprise applications.
Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy.
Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
Participate in production support and incident response activities.

Qualifications
8–10 years of software development experience.
5 years of hands‑on AWS cloud experience.
Experience supporting enterprise‑scale applications in production environments.
Experience participating in incident response and production support rotations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
Experience with serverless architecture.
GitLab CI/CD expertise.
Experience working within regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government.
