About

Overview The Business Intelligence Solution Engineer collaborates with stakeholders across Consumer Finance to clearly define the underlying business need for reporting and dashboards and translate findings into basic business requirements. This position partners with business and technical subject matter experts—primarily sales, operations, underwriting, and risk/compliance—to source data and design and maintain the technical solution that supports the reporting needs. As the first line of defense, this role is responsible for monitoring the health of the business by converting data into actionable information and delivering meaningful, digestible reporting to the sales and credit organizations. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders across Consumer Finance to define business needs for reporting and dashboards and translate findings into basic business requirements. Work with subject matter experts and business analysts to understand business processes and source required data to support solutions. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain ETL processes to support business intelligence and reporting solutions. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain effective visualizations, dashboards, and scorecards using business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau). On an ad hoc basis, execute reports or analyses, interpret results, and present recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency to business partners. Coordinate a project team and act as an individual contributor as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, or related field. 3+ years experience working with large enterprise databases in a complex data environment using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI). Preferred Qualifications Understanding of consumer loan products with particular emphasis on origination and servicing processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of data preparation tools & techniques (e.g., experience with Tableau Prep). Creative thinker with very strong problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated success working in a fast‑paced environment and balancing work efforts across multiple projects. Proven ability to successfully execute tactical and strategic initiatives. Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to effectively multi‑task and manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Focus on continuous improvement. Workplace Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay).
