Business Development Manager
Bennett International Transport, LLC is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth initiatives in international logistics by identifying new business opportunities, securing clients, and managing the full sales cycle.
Core Responsibilities- Identify and secure new clients for international transportation services (ROAD, SEA, AIR, multimodal). This includes cold outreach, networking, and tender participation.
- Develop and implement market-entry strategies to expand the company's presence in new regions or service lines.
- Prepare and deliver commercial offers, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts with customers and partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract execution and handover to operations.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance, legal) to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and performance reporting.
- Meet revenue and profitability KPIs, often including aggressive early-stage targets in startup environments.
Skills
- 5 years of previous transportation sales experience in an international market.
- Proven business development accomplishments and a track record
