You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Northford, CT location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Be involved with all phases of design from concept to deployment
Be part of a multi-discipline engineering team developing exciting new life safety products for the connected world
Collaborate with engineers and developers from around the globe
Work in an Agile environment & create stories in Jira
Attend daily Scrum meetings
Develop code and verify functionality of the coding
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE:
A Bachelor of Science degree
1+ year of embedded firmware development and/or troubleshooting
WE VALUE:
Ability to collaborate with a team.
Embedded C experience
Embedded Linux development, HMI development and boot-loader experience
Advanced computer knowledge (networking/communications/troubleshooting)
Cyber security knowledge
Experience with JIRA/JIRA Agile/Bamboo and Agile practices
Experience bringing up and troubleshooting new hardware
A Master's Degree
The annual base salary range for this position is $73,900 - $90,000.
