About
As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in vehicle retrofits, and technical training, while acting as a trusted partner and technical expert for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and assist with retrofit installations and modifications of EV Battery
Retrofit electrical components (Harness, Connector, etc...)
Provide on-site support for bus deliveries, including inspections and acceptance processes
Deliver in-field service and troubleshooting to ensure optimal vehicle performance
Collaborate with suppliers and senior technicians to diagnose and resolve complex issues
Inspect, repair, and maintain buses using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all repairs are properly documented in Service Cloud
Provide daily status updates to internal stakeholders
Learn and effectively utilize all required software systems and tools
Perform performance testing after repairs
Record data like battery health, capacity, and lifecycle
Maintain service logs and compliance documentation
Participate in ongoing training to develop technical expertise and stay current with industry advancements
Follow strict high-voltage safety procedures
Use protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma in Heavy-Duty Mechanics or a related field
Valid 310T License (or currently registered apprentice – highly desirable)
Strong interest in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and field service work
Experience working with electrical harnesses and/or high-voltage systems
Experience in the automotive, transportation, or heavy vehicle industry is an asset
Familiarity with bus systems and components, including handling and servicing buses, is considered a strong asset
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with EV systems and software tools
Forklift license is an asset
Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift and perform manual tasks as required
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
