Apex has an opportunity for a Project Manager for one of our top clients. Here are the details:

Position: Project Manager

Location: Bethpage, NY (100% Remote)

Duration: 6 month Contract to Hire

This successful candidate will be a key part of this team managing Business to Consumer and now they are handling video, data, voice, and B2B for all these areas as well. Soon they will also be making a push to enhance Mobile products within residential to Business. Some of the products they will be enhancing are within the Video and Data space:

• Upgrading the cabling they have
• New App Development
• Getting Internet to higher speeds (multi-gigs)

The Lead Project Manager reports to the Director of Program Management and will be responsible for the Project Management of major company initiatives for residential, business, and Mobile products. They should have a proven track record of successful project delivery and an ability to improve project and portfolio management practices. They will be expected to take on the more difficult projects (Major company initiatives). He or She will be expected to take on 3 or more large projects at a time.

Day to Day:

Manage multiple medium to x-large scale projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams (both technical and business) throughout the organization

Work with program stakeholders to develop a Product delivery plan that ensures the organization is ready to support the launch into the market

Partner with Product owners, Design and Development teams to deliver customer-facing applications and equipment

Manage and report on the projects overall health, including cost, schedule, scope, and risk management

Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them

Work with PMO process team to oversee the product management and operations processes including intake, governance, monitoring, prioritization, communication, and quality control.

Must Haves:

• 3+ Years Experience in Project Management managing multiple projects at one time
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Basic knowledge of the SDLC
• Great written/verbal communication and organizational skills

Nice to Haves:

• Any technical experience or API experience
• Telecom experience
